The Empowerment Program
The Empowerment Program focuses on equipping young underprivileged women and youth with the skills, resources, and opportunities they need to achieve self-reliance and economic independence. Through our partnership with Moja Stitches for Education, we provide tailored vocational training in areas such as sewing, tailoring, and design. This initiative not only nurtures technical skills but also fosters creativity and entrepreneurship. In addition to skills training, we offer financial literacy programs and small start-up loans for young women who wish to begin their own businesses. These resources are designed to help participants effectively manage finances, create sustainable business plans, and turn their dreams into reality. By empowering these individuals, the program aims to:
- Bridge the gap in education and skill acquisition for underprivileged groups.
- Enhance economic stability through income-generating activities.
- Promote gender equality and inclusivity in local communities.
- Support young women in becoming financially independent entrepreneurs.

With help from Collin Malone and his fundraising, and a very generous donations from Be the Need. We were able to build our new organization with enough room to facility the new Women Empowerment Center. With our new building we were so happy to finally succeed in getting our application approved from CISU (an organization under the Danish Government), to start up our project to give young mothers in Soweto the opportunities to get an education and be able to support themselves and there children.
We’re thrilled to announce the successful completion of our latest project, made possible by the generous support of the Luena Foundation. Thanks to their contribution, we’ve successfully rehabilitated two community toilets, enhancing sanitation facilities for everyone.
This vital initiative aligns with our commitment to fostering healthier communities and improving overall well-being. The upgraded facilities will positively impact the lives of many, promoting hygiene and environmental sustainability.
